I’m Alejandra Reyes, I live in Tandil, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m interested in photography since my father gave me a Kodak Fiesta and B&W film. I took my first photography course in my city’s photo club and shared beautiful moments with a wonderful group. We shared unforgettable barbecues and photography sessions.
I made black and white photography and I spend hours and hours making photos, with my bathroom closed down.
When my children born, my camera was filling of baby bibs and dirty Ninja Turtles …
I forgot the photography until I bought my D70, then I started to study again, I bought some books in Amazon.com and I discovered Bryan Peterson and his on line courses. I took Understanding Exposure in Betterphoto.com, a wonderful course because Bryan is a great teacher and because the group. A really wonderful group of people! Now we have a Yahoo group and we’re sharing our photographic adventures and misfortunes. I took the other Bryan’s course in BetterPhoto, Learning to See Creatively where I enjoyed a fantastic teacher again. I was chosen by my partners, the best photographer in both courses.
I won some awards in BetterPhoto contest and my shot Dancing was published in the Digital Camera World Magazine from UK. It was one of the highly recommended of the action category, in the Photographer of the year 2005 contest.
I'm opening this site to recover the lost inspiration and share my work.
